Bill's balade

Chuck vient de m'envoyer un message de Bill de TCBoats.com essayant son ScullMatix tout neuf.

Voici ce qu'il en dit dans le texte original :
[..]"It Works ! And quite well, I might add. Granted it is low power and a little slow, but VERY VERY easy to do. I used it on an old 14' aluminum Arkansas Traveler river boat (pointed nose). I cut a piece of 1 x 6 appx 18" long and then a "U" shaped notch in one end. I then used a "C" clamp to attach the piece to the transom with the notch "UP" (of course). I had a head wind at times of 5 to 10 MPH, and was still able to make very satisfactory headway. Turning is not a problem, once you have the hang and feel of the oar."[..]

[..]"Ça fonctionne ! Et très bien, même. D'accord, c'est un peu lent et de faible puissance, mais c'est très très facile à faire. Je l'ai utilisé sur un vieux 14' Arkansas Traveler en aluminium (bateau au nez pointu). J'ai coupé une pièce de bois d'approximativement 45cm de long avec une encoche en "U" d'un côté. J'ai ensuite utilisé une presse en "C" pour fixer la pièce au tableau arrière avec l'encoche en haut (bien sûr).
J'ai eu par moments un vent de face dans les 5 à 10 noeuds, et j'étais encore capable d'avancer de manière très satisfaisante. Virer n'est pas un problème, une fois qu'on a l'aviron bien en main."[..]
